Åsa has accumulated 20 years of experience across multiple functional roles in the pharmaceutical industry and consultancy. She brings a holistic view on life science, including strategy, commercial and access opportunities, and generation of data to support successful launch and reimbursement processes.

In 2021 Åsa cofounded Macanda to build a more senior consultancy focusing on complex products. In her previous role she headed up the Nordic HEMAR team at Janssen, which was responsible for pipeline and established brands as well as health economics and market access of focus products, mostly in the specialist segment. She was also a member of Janssen’s European Early HTA Advice Committee. In addition, Åsa has experience as Commercial Director for oncology and specialist products, Launch Lead, Health Economics Team Lead and Manager for CNS and vaccines from close to 5 years at each of Pfizer and GSK.

Her background also includes being the CEO for international health-economics consultancy Quantify Research, developing and leading their growth journey while in parallel providing strategic market access advice, leading multiple reimbursement submissions in the Nordics and supporting real-world evidence projects.

Åsa holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Stockholm School of Economics.
