Isabella has more than five years of experience in biomedical and clinical research, with particular expertise in immunology, gut microbiota, and allergic diseases.

Throughout her academic career, Isabella has contributed to both observational and interventional clinical studies, including a clinical trial evaluating a novel treatment for peanut allergy. Working closely with clinicians and multidisciplinary research teams at Södersjukhuset and Karolinska Institutet, she has developed a strong translational perspective, linking biomarker discovery and experimental data analysis to real clinical needs. She also has extensive experience in scientific writing, literature evaluation, and the communication of complex scientific findings to diverse audiences.

Isabella has co-authored seven peer-reviewed publications, presented her research at international conferences, and served as a reviewer for scientific journals.

She holds a PhD in Molecular Biosciences and an MSc in Microbiology and Immunology from Stockholm University, as well as a BSc in Biological Sciences from La Sapienza University of Rome.
