Johanna brings two years experience of working with health economy. Before joining Macanda Johanna worked at Oslo Economics as an Economist, primarily focusing on Norwegian health care economics and market access, with a particular emphasis on HTA submissions to Direktoratet for medisinske produkter (DMP). She has also contributed to reports exploring the value of innovative treatments and alternative clinical endpoints for patients and caregivers, as well as the impact of disease rarity and small patient population groups in assessments conducted by different HTA bodies in Europe.

Additionally, she has co-authored an article on the economies of scale in Norwegian somatic hospitals, published in the Journal of Productivity Analysis.

Johanna holds an MSc in Economics from Lund University with a specialisation in econometrics.
