Maria has more than 20 years of experience in Sweden from a variety of positions across Payers, Health Technology Assessment bodies and clinical value. She is a former member of the management team for the department of value-based pricing (VBP) at the Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency (TLV) and former Head of Unit [Läkemedelsenhet 1] for assessing drugs within neurology, respiratory, musculoskeletal, pain, including orphan drugs and ATMPs).

Maria has a wealth of knowledge in a variety of therapeutic areas, across both hospital and prescription medications. Past positions at the TLV includes being a Senior medical assessor and Project leader.

Maria has also experience from being a member of the Expert groups and the Drug- and Therapeutic committees within the Regions of Västerbotten and Jämtland.

Maria holds a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Uppsala University and is a Licensed pharmacist.
