Analyst/Consultant in Medical Writing and Analysis

 

Macanda is currently in an exciting growth phase, with the ambition to build a highly skilled team—with a strong focus on customer value, quality, and sustainable growth. We are now looking to expand our team with a Medical Analyst/Consultant!
 

We are looking for someone to take on tasks in Medical Writing and Analysis. You will work on a wide variety of projects within Macanda’s service areas, delivering consulting and research services to external clients, with a particular focus on medical writing, analysis and synthesis of different data. Usually, you will work as part of a team of 3-5 consultants, with close collaboration across disciplines, and senior colleagues will actively support your onboarding, development and learning.
 

Depending on your level of experience, Macanda can discuss the relevant title level and will have different expectations on the employee.

Examples of responsibilities include

• Conducting literature searches and synthesizing medical evidence

• Writing reports on disease background and the value of new treatments

• Analyzing medical data and translating into relevant insights and texts

• Provide strategic advice to clients, manage client relationships, and, dependent on seniority, mentor junior team members

• Contribute to complex, multi-faceted projects that require coordination across different teams and stakeholders

• Supporting the development of market access strategies and launch plans

We are looking for someone who 

• Holds a Master or PhD degree in public health, epidemiology, life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field

• Has a few years of experience working with market access, health economics, medical writing, or related fields

• Has advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team

• Have Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, and can understand Swedish texts and everyday conversations

It is a merit if you have

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and reference management

• Internship or research experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related fields

• Experience in data analysis and synthesis

Our Recruitment Process

We apply continuous selection and will remove the job advertisement once a sufficient number of candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process.
