With over 6 years of experience in medical biology, Hannes Hoppe has focused on biological mechanisms and drug targets, particularly in infectious diseases and cancer. Currently, he is nearing the completion of his PhD in infectious diseases at the Karolinska Institute, where his research was centered on investigating drugs for malaria. This work has deepened his understanding of both experimental and clinical aspects of drug development.

Hannes’ academic foundation includes a BSc and MSc in biochemistry from Martin-Luther-University Halle in Germany, where he gained strong expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry. Additionally, he developed proficiency in analyzing clinical studies and interpreting complex data.

Hannes also has experience working with Nordic Cancer Registries, which has expanded his knowledge of epidemiology and public health. This role involved managing large datasets, further strengthening his research skills in the field of cancer prevention and treatment.
