Marcus has more than 14 years of life science experience of which the latest 9 years have been in market access consulting.

Marcus is an expert in market access strategy development, health economics, and Nordic reimbursement. Over the years Marcus has worked in a wide range of disease areas, many of them have been rare conditions. Marcus has also supported the launch of ATMPs in the Nordics, including both cell- and gene therapies.

Before joining Macanda Marcus was a senior director at Parexel access consulting where he developed a focus on Nordic access and reimbursement through supporting clients with prescription drugs and hospital products in all Nordic countries. Prior to joining Parexel Marcus was the CEO of a medical device company and held several positions in life science consulting in Switzerland and the US.

Marcus has a MSc in Industrial Management from Linköping University/ETH Zürich with a specialization in strategy.
