Oskar brings over 12 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), spanning both consultancy and the pharmaceutical industry. He specializes in health economic modelling, real-world evidence (RWE) generation, and market access strategy, with a particular focus on the Nordic region.
 

Throughout his career, Oskar has contributed to successful market access and evidence strategies across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, virology, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney and liver diseases and respiratory conditions. His expertise lies in translating complex data into actionable insights that support reimbursement, pricing, and access decisions.

Before joining Macanda, Oskar served as Nordic HEOR Lead at Gilead Sciences, where he drove strategic initiatives in health economics, evidence generation, and market access across the Nordics. During this time, he was instrumental in achieving reimbursement for CAR‑T therapies across multiple markets, ensuring patient access to these innovative treatments. Prior to that, he held the position as HEOR Partner at Roche where he led HEOR activities for several notable launches within spinal muscular atrophy, immune oncology and immunology. Earlier in his career, he also worked as a consultant leading Nordic RWE and market access projects.

Oskar holds an MSc in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. He combines a strong foundation in quantitative analysis with a deep understanding of the Nordic healthcare landscape, enabling him to deliver evidence-based strategies for the benefit of our clients and patients.
