Welcome Liza and Julia!

We are happy to welcome Liza Bergkvist Koernig and Julia Jonsson to our team!

Liza brings extensive experience in medical affairs and scientific communication across both industry and academia. She joins us from Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, where she worked as a Scientific Project Manager in haematology, supporting medical education programs and developing clinical study summaries and scientific materials for healthcare professionals. Liza holds a PhD in Protein Science from Linköping University, with research focused on Alzheimer’s disease, and joins Macanda as a Medical Analyst.

Julia joins us as a part-time Intern while pursuing a master’s degree in Health Economics, Policy and Management at Karolinska Institutet. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Linköping University, where she specialized in Health Economics and wrote her thesis on the antibiotic market and antimicrobial resistance.

We are very happy to have both Liza and Julia on the team and look forward to their contributions.
